From April 30 to May 3, 2025, Lošinj’s most distinguished restaurants will host a stellar lineup of Slovenian guest chefs, renowned wineries, and culinary artisans for an extraordinary four-day wine & dine affair. Hosted at Michelin-star restaurant Alfred Keller at Boutique Hotel Alhambra and Matsunoki and Bava restaurants at Hotel Bellevue, this year’s edition promises to be a celebration of authentic flavors, masterful craftsmanship, and irresistible dining experiences.
- Wednesday, April 30 – Bava Restaurant Dinner
Taste Slovenia kicks off at Bava with an exquisite dinner prepared by Filip Matijaš of COB (Cooking Outside the Box) and Roko Nikolić of Bava. Pairings for the evening come from the celebrated boutique winery Edi Simčič, known for its exceptional vineyards in Goriška Brda.
- Thursday, May 1 – Prekmurje Brunch at Alfred Keller
A Prekmurje Brunch takes centre stage at Alfred Keller, featuring the talents of Leon Pintarič from Gostilna Rajh, alongside Michael Gollenz, and curated meat selections from Kodila and wines from Stayer and Marof Vina. This brunch experience showcases the rustic and comforting flavors of Slovenia’s Prekmurje region.
- Thursday, May 1 – Matsunoki Dinner
The evening continues at Matsunoki with a spectacular dinner by the acclaimed Tomaž Kavčič of Dvorec Zemono. His innovative cuisine will be paired with the distinguished wines of Marjan Simčič Domaine, reflecting a centuries-old tradition of viticulture in Slovenia.
- Friday, May 2 – Peti 181 at Matsunoki
On Friday, May 2, Matsunoki will host an exclusive dining experience featuring Chef Petra Kapetanović from Peti 181 Restaurant in Ljubljana and Chef Orhan Chakiroglu from our Matsunoki Restaurant. Guests will indulge in a meticulously curated menu, enhanced by premium Bio Sing cold cuts and exceptional large-format wines from Marjan Simčič, Edi Simčič, and Movia, specially selected for the occasion.
- Saturday, May 3 – Alfred Keller Dinner
The event culminates with an exceptional signature dinner at Alfred Keller, where Marko Pavčnik of Gostinstvo Pavus and Michael Gollenz collaborate to craft a remarkable menu. Each dish will be perfectly paired with Movia Vina, a historic family-run winery with a legacy dating back to 1820.
